I've done that and everything is working fine as it should. It uses the SimConnect game API which makes the app recieve data real. Your second solution was the only one that worked, a complete windows reinstall. I had deleted one of the simconnect folders to try and repair it with a simconnect reinstall from the SDK. That's what I had to do in a similar mess - one I created deliberately to see if I could write a program to fix SimConnect problems. Failing that I think the only solution might be a Windows re-install. This is the official SDK package from the Microsoft Website for Flight Simulator X Service Pack 2.

If not I can only think of two things to try:ġ. On your FSX Computer, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X SDK\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\lib. If that's the case it is some sort of Registry mess which I don't think is solvable, unless you can roll back to a better time. If you don't have the SP2/Acceleration version of SimConnect.msi (eg in the FSX SDK), then you may be able to download it from someplace, but I would guess that if Acceleration install/repair didn't re-create the correct folders/files then neither will the specific SimConnect installer. How did you lose the folder? Are the other two versions there (6092)? The SE simconnect.h shows 7.0 as its rev number and that also matches the rev number shown in Programs & Features in the Windows control panel.
Neither option put the folder back in winsxs. The simconnect.h I have been using from the FSX-SP2 SDK also shows 2.0, same as the SP1 shown above.
